Hello there.
Welcome one and all to the end of year shindiggery of the latest Rob and Jim show. It's great to be back; it went quite well considering our lack of practice. Frankly we've totally given up on any pretence of regular commitment and will forthwith provide you with new fun and frolicks on a 'when we can be bothered' basis. But rest assured that with every episode we willalways aim to make sure it will have been well worth the wait.
In this special episode we kind of sort of take a look back on our year, chat a bit about stuff, play some really rather good music and mainly fail to finish a conversation or make any kind of sense at all. With no special guests or interesting news to speak of, it's left to the usual fuel of crisps, chocolate and beer to make us all behave like idiots for your amusement.
You're welcome. We had fun. We might do it again, if you like. If you do, how about letting us know. And send us some music too you lovely unsigned people. We really actually do care about your music. Help us get it heard!!

Hello my fellow fluffers, come on in and sit yourself down. Cuppa? Or something stronger? Perhaps you'd better lie down actually, because this show may have you rolling around on the floor with laughter. Or else it may make you think hot metal rods driven into your ear canal would actually make a pleasant change.
This show it's Rob's birthday, and what better way to celebrate than to fully indulge the desperate ramblings that vomit forth from our hosts. I really have to apologise - there was no control, editorial or otherwise, involved. This is purely the sound of two or more reasonably intelligent people taking our show title to heart.
Do they really need an excuse to be stupid? Excuse or not, that's what you're going to get.
This may not be our best work - what the hell, have it anyway, you might find it kind of comforting to know that outside in the world there are others prepared to be stupid, so you donlt have to.
Luv ya!

Hiya there chums, welcome along to another episode of Rob and Jim's Excuse to be Stupid. You probably know the drill by now, but if you're finding the show for the first time then be assured that all you have to do is sit back, disengage any vague ideas about intelligent thought and allow the babbling bubble of nonsense to dribble into your ear buckets.
This time around the the usual pap is dialled up to 11 as the boys foolishly fuel themselves with Cider and Pringles (endorsement pending), pump Linz up to fighting weight with Choccy, turn the switch on Kyle's head to on and then just get on with the show without waiting for Martin Producer to turn up. No, that's fine, really. Do it without me, it's OK, it's fine really. Fine. Really.
Fine.
So the second hour is the best. It's got me in it.
Right then, get on with it. Enjoy the show, and let everyone you know how much you love us. You're special. We're special too. Oh yes.

We're back! Again.
Hey there lovely internet monkeys, welcome back along to the first in a new series of Rob and Jim shows. We may have been away for a while but the show remains the same mix of marvellous music from the best unsigned bands, surrounded by four people shouting over each other trying to be clever and funny. And Kyle.
This episode:
World Record Holder (really!) Phil Knight in the studio to tell us about his new album project, and links to the Helen Bamber Foundation
Amelia Tyler, until recently the voice of Sci-Fi channel, is on the phone to tell us about acting, voiceovers, Mr Big, Jennifer Ellison AND her shoe boudoir (or shoedoir – brilliant!)
Prank Calls, Whips, Space, Death, Butt Sex, and Lindsay getting out of control. Again. Apologies to Constantinople – it was wrong, but we have to do it for the listeners.
Enjoy y’all – from now on we’ll be posting new episodes every month. Next episode; The Sound of Tugnuts.

A Tuesday afternoon, the clocks have bounced forward, it's Spring! and the lambs are gambling in the fields. Wait, that should be gamboling in the fields. The lambs have not headed down to William Hill to put a fiver on the 2:15 at Towcester. Smarter than that lambs. All their betting needs are taken care of on the internet innit.
Enjoy our latest show my sweet streamers, delicious downloaders and illustrious iTuners. As always, use the facilities available at www.robandjimradio.co.uk to interact or comment on the show. Write to us at submissions@randomcandle.co.uk

It's so exciting, I've 'arrived' prematurely!
Jim Distortion Interviews Acey Slade and gets behind the successful musician’s writing process as well as hearing some tour stories from the man who played guitar with Joey Jordison from Slipknot and now has a new project Acey Slade and the Dark Party! Hear a song from the album and an indepth conversation between Acey and Jim!
Oli Zico is also on the phone with Jim and we finally discover the facts behind the story band mate Chris told us about on a previous show. There's shot's, a shower and a sofa involved.
Hey there you if you're new, why not listen in to the shows already up on the player, including Jim being tattooed live on the show (Ep4) as well as the Mighty Steel Panther’s Drummer Styx interviewed and inviting Distorted Breed to go to the States and support the guys in a couple of shows! Go to the show page and you will find the show player!
Check out the full glory of our new website pages at www.robandjimradio.co.uk and if you like what you hear why not send us a quick note telling us why.
Until next time - stay beautiful
Luv ya!

Yes this really is a reference to Eighties comedy stalwarts Hale and Pace (ask your Dad), but it also acts as an introduction to this week's most surprising guest. We've not really come to terms with it yet, you'll really have to listen to the show and let us know what you think the hell was going on.
Another load of tortuous puns, silly noises and tedious jingles as we bring you Episode 14 of Rob and Jim's Excuse to be Stupid, brought fresh and funky from the Cream Room Recording Studio. Thank god for the music. Or more accurately, thank the bands and artists that sent in the tracks. It's a beautiful thing.
So what're you waiting for? Get to it!
Luv ya
Martin x
So sorry to keep you waiting, hope it's not ruined the evening. Don't panic though - we're a podcast. You can listen whenever you want. Many times. Many, many times. Many many many times. You get the idea.
